We worked with multi-award-winning Keelham Farm Shop to build its reputation driven by a mission to make great-tasting, fresh food available to more people at the keenest prices. From its Skipton HQ, the popular farm shop now serves 11million customers a year with more attracted to its growing online offer.
Through a competitive tender, we originally won the PR account for Keelham on a short-term basis, to oversee the communications for a planning application of a proposed second shop in Skipton. Within months we were asked to devise and deliver an integrated consumer and corporate
media communications strategy for the original 40+ years’ shop in Thornton, as well as paving the way for Skipton, with the aims of increasing sales, driving footfall and building a strong reputation for the brand.
In 2015, when Keelham Farm Shop opened in Skipton, despite a number of project challenges, in the months leading up to completion, the media coverage throughout and public support was 100% positive, incorporating the client’s core values and brand messages. The target footfall figure for two months’ post-opening was 7,000: in week one 11,500 customers visited the new Skipton shop.
